I mixed ice cream and milk in the 1950s milkshake maker after finding ingredients for shakes inside my room refrigerator. I also filled my hand with candy from the wall-mounted dispenser while looking at 1950s memorabilia in the converted garage. I made peanut butter and jelly toast for breakfast in the morning with bread and spreads left in the room for my stay.

Full kitchens within every suite

I prepared my meals in the fully equipped kitchen inside my suite. While I unpacked, I enjoyed the coffee from my Keurig machine. The gym downstairs provided a cable station and a pullup bar for my morning workout.

I picked up fresh cookies set out by the reception desk when I arrived. Every morning, I packed snacks into a small bag at the breakfast room for the road. The gym remained open for me twenty-four hours a day, while I used the pool after my long drive.

Gated parking accessible by key

I parked my car in the gated lot which required my room key for entry throughout my stay. During my four nights, I heated leftovers in the room microwave and poured hot coffee from the lobby dispenser. I also lifted weights up to 75 lbs in the gymwith new equipment.

Convertible sofa beds for extra space

I slept on a sofa that pulled out into a bed in my renovated suitewith plenty of room for me and my gear. My room included a microwave and a mini fridge for keeping my drinks cold. I enjoyed the hot breakfast spread in the dining areawith biscuits and gravy as well as a cappuccino machine for my morning coffee.

I rode the Peloton bike in the gym before heading to the buffet breakfast that featured fresh fruit and eggs. The ice machine sat conveniently down the hall by the elevator, which I used daily during my stay. Late night swimming in the courtyard

I swam in the pool until ten in the evening, while the heated hot tub remained open just a few steps away in the courtyard. I ate dinner at The Hungry Hunter, located across the street, after settling into my room with its private balcony. Private balconies overlooking the pool

I sat on my room balcony each evening to look out at the courtyard pool area. Sliding glass doors opened directly from my suite, which held a refrigerator and microwave for my leftovers. I walked to the nearby restaurants for dinner after spending the afternoon in the two-foot deep jacuzzi tub.

A personalized television greeting at arrival

When I checked in, the room television displayed a personal welcome message. I spent my time in a spacious suite, which contained a full-size fridge and a freezer. During my stay, I cooked meals in my room using the kitchen and used the curtain separator to divide the living area from my bed. Appetizers on the ninth floor

I entered the Executive Lounge on the 9th floor with my room key for appetizers and a beverage, which remained available until 10p. Security personnel patrolled the parking lot during the day and nights throughout my visit. I also slept on the comfortable mattress and pillows after I attended my event at the Mechanics Bank convention center nearby.

Evening burgers and beer at five

I ate burgers and salads during the complimentary evening social that took place from five to seven. My suite came with a full kitchen stocked with dishware and utensils, which helped when I prepared meals. I swam in the outdoor pool and used the provided pool towels before relaxing in the lobby.
